Mediation Herefordshire is a Registered Charity, a not-for-profit organisation, independent of the Courts and solicitors. If you are not eligible for Public Funding, we have to make a charge to enable us to continue to provide our Service.
Publicly Funded Mediation:
If you are in receipt of benefits or on low income and your capital is less than £8,000, you will not be charged for mediation. If you would like to see whether you could be eligible please go here and use the LSC Calculator.
For those not entitled to Publicly Funded Mediation, our fees are charged on a sliding scale based on your gross annual income, as follows:
The initial Assessment Meeting is free of charge
Band A:
Under £30,000: - £75 per person, per session (including VAT)
Band B:
£30,000 - £40,000: - £100 per person, per session (including VAT)
Band C:
£40,000 + - £150 per person, per session (including VAT)
A Mediation Session lasts 1.5 hours
We anticipate 1 - 2 sessions to complete Child Issues Mediation and normally 3 sessions for All Issues Mediation.
